Compass delivers a truly independent service to brokers and MGAs in the UK and overseas. With origins as Lloyd’s Syndicate 1242, we have evolved over more than 40 years into a trusted MGA and, ultimately, a Lloyd’s Broker.

Our experience spans a wide range of classes and regions, with our largest markets, by volume, being Asia, the US, the UK and Europe. Over the years, we’ve been entrusted with complex and specialised challenges, from developing a global insurance solution for seafarers under the Maritime Labour Convention (which resulted in the creation of Lloyd’s Risk Code “SA”), to designing a unique property product for Mediterranean owners incorporating political confiscation risk, bank account protection and other specialist features.
